Wow, where did all of my freedom go? One moment I am the student and worked on art for grades and personal expression and then poof! I am now the teacher that gives the assignment and never works on her own art. Well, I do a few things, but they have to have a purpose like- wedding gift, baby gift, prom, etc. UGH!! Sometimes I feel like I am suffocating from all of my ideas wanting to get out of my head. I sketch, but its just not the same. I do feel guilty, because I LOVE my job and LOVE teaching young artists. In time, I hope I will be able to find peace and harmony between the two. Until then......
